Quite a thing, going from a grey soggy winter to saturated sunshine in a weeks time. Sure, I’ll probably skip the 20 hour layover next time around, but you just gotta roll with it.
Over the past couple of days my family down under has given me a new definition of hospitality. It’s one of those things I believe you can’t expect, but when offered, and at that whole heartedly, it’s truly wonderful.
Honestly it feels too early to reflect. The country hasn’t left any deep impressions. This dutch boy needs to travel a bit further here to reach the adequat conclusions.

Goodmorning Luuk, everything oké? Here in Holland we have a big crisis know! Everything is closed: Bars, schools, studio's, sport schools, sport events, etc. etc. exept the workplace. What I see is that it is not cold! Here still winter.
Hey Tjeu! Alles goed Down-Under. Momenteel naar een stationwagen aan het kijken zodat ik mijn vakantie plannen kan doorzetten. De helft van de binnenlandse vluchten zijn geschrapt en bijna geen internationale vluchten meer. We lopen hier met alle maatregelen een week of 2 achter maar de Australische overheid is snel aan het inlopen nu er meer besmettingen zijn. Komende maandag start ik aan mijn wandeltocht, dat kan gelukkig nog wel doorgaan. Succes in Nederland en de groeten aan iedereen op de Wilgenakker!
